i read a bizarre piece of news a few days ago where the Delhi Police stated that the 7 acre stage was structurally unstable and unsafe for the PM and hence another stage should be created for the PM and the VIPs. Apparently the aam aadmi can stand on an unsafe stage - as if their lives are not important.
