Not a book, not even a booklet but a mere pamphlet – but it encapsulates the hoary wisdom of Ayurveda regarding the diagnosis, treatment, and prophylaxis of examthems like measles and variola. I wish the book was more authoritative rather than a puerile domestic yarn. This was a book from the colonial times the author based her thesis on: An Account of the Manner of Inoculating for the Small Pox in the East Indies
