What a piece of work is man

What a piece of work is a man,
How noble in Reason,
How infinite in faculties,
In form and moving how express and admirable,
In action how like an Angel!
In apprehension how like a god,
The beauty of the world, the paragon of animals.
And yet to me, what is this quintessence of dust?
Man delights not me; no, nor Woman neither;
Though by your smiling you seeme to say so

—The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark (Act II, Scene ii, 285-300)

Now to paraphrase the above, with these patients as examples:

Sohail (Osteogenic Sarcoma right Mandible)

What an abhorrent piece of work is man,
How ignoble in reason,
How finite are his faculties,
Distorted in form and abominable to behold,
In action how unlike an Angel
A mockery and travesty of the Gods
The ugliness of the world, the parody of animals.
And yet to me, what is this quintessence of dust?
Pain and suffering mindlessly, only to return to dust....
